Big Sur Visitor Bureau - Emergency Veterinarian

Monterey Peninsula  Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center is open for emergency veterinary services 24/7/365 — during the night, on weekends and holidays, when your veterinarian is not able to see your pet, or for referral from your veterinarian for overnight care. They work closely with your veterinarian to provide the best continuous care and exchange of information, furnishing detailed medical records, copies of all laboratory work, and radiographic images on CD.

Their emergency services also extend to provide 24/7, around-the-clock critical care for the most seriously ill and injured pets, and they offer emergency services during the day through their well-trained and experienced general practice staff members. They understand that in an emergency, time is of the essence, and we are prepared to see any pet emergency in a walk-in basis.
