If the first drive of your round tends to fade right, you'll love Poppy Hills...

Located in the Pebble Beach Del Monte forest on the Monterey Peninsula, Poppy Hills is the home course of the Northern California Golf Association. The name Poppy Hills is familiar to many because for 18 years it was one of the rotation courses played in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1986, it is the youngest course on the peninsula and one of the most fun to play.
The trees and sun play with the shadows. You may need to hit an eight-iron over deer grazing in the fairway, launch a wedge up toward the red-tailed hawk overhead, or listen for the waves so you can get a feel before you stroke a putt.

Poppy Hills has won numerous national awards:
Golf World Readers’ Choice Award – 2008 Poppy Hills ranks

41st on the list of the top public courses
Zagat Survey – 2007 Poppy Hills ranks 12th on the
list of “Most Popular Courses.” Golf Today -
2005 Top 25 Toughest Courses – #15
For the fifth year in a row and sixth time overall, Poppy Hills' golf shop has been selected as one of the top 100 Golf Shops in the nation by Golf World.
